After a nice stroll along the seafront stopping off to check out the Ska bands at the bandstand it was across the common and into Old Portsmouth for a pint. Stopping at the Dolphin pub where Yogi is guarenteed an offer of dog biscuits and a bowl of water, myself I'm happy with just the pint.
A nice summers mid day dogwalk turned into a soakfest as it started chucking it down. As Yogi does not mind the rain a soggy dog walk ensued heading from tree to tree for a bit of shelter and as it finally started to clear Yogi still felt the need for some hippo impressions in the muddy puddles.
Saturday morning and it was the usual trip to Eastney beach to join up with the Busy B dog walk. Nice and sunny so the pooches were well up for a swim. Digger, Lola and Yogi all having a nice soak.
On the afternoon dog walk a B-17 flew over Southsea on it’s return from the Bournemouth air show. Glorious sight & sound as it passed overhead.
Unfortunatley Yogi is not one to worry about the weather when it comes to his dog walk, sometimes it seems the worse the weather the more he enjoys it.
Testing the Garmin tracker device with Yogi, having set up geo fences around our evening dog walk we set off and with Yogi not minding a bit of tech on his collar set off.
All working fine as we got email notifications on entry and exit plus a nice track log of our walk. Will have to see if I can claim Yogis payment of dog biscuits on expenses...
