Tales from Southsea & beyond
The Xmas / New Year limbo was eased by a good long dog walk along the common for a pint or two at the Dolphin. On the way back the sun finally came out after several dull days - cracking.
Pressies, Beer, Family - whats not to like (Apart from Daves attempts at doing roast potatoes) - Yogis pressie from Lauren definitley got the paws up though
Not quite as good as the pub meat raffle , but the winning ways continued - though the missus has bagsied the goodies for cooking purposes.
It was all down to the Dolphin Pub - Old Portsmouth for the Busy B Dogs Xmas Dinner. Full on waiter service, loads of dogs and Yogi scoffing everyone elses left over Veg - plus Red Plum Xmas beer - what was not to like.
A stop off on the way up to Seer Green enabled us to park at Hedgerley to walk the pooch around Church Wood and pop into The White Horse for a quick pint - Rebellion IPA brewed at nearby Marlow.
The rather good autumn weather continues with great sunrises on the morning dogwalks - here looking back at South Parade Pier from the seafront.
