The rather good autumn weather continues with great sunrises on the morning dogwalks - here looking back at South Parade Pier from the seafront.

Southsea seafront and common were shrouded in morning fog today. The Ship fog horns were setting the poor pooch off who was howling back at them from the shore. The fog only came as far as Clarence Parade but made the morning dog walk quite eerie.
With the Guildhall Beer Festival not going ahead, Pompeys own brewers Irving & Co setup thier own beer festival. Located at the Groundlings Theatre, a stones throw from Gunwharf Quays, we went along for the Saturday afternoon session. Much nice beers & ciders to be sampled from all over hampshire and beyond and a quality Brass Band playing - even the missus managed to get a bit typsy - a good afternoon out.
The lovely evening sun caused an extension to the evening dog walk to take in the beach. With the tide out we were able to walk along from Clarence Pier to the aquarium. Needless to say the pooch liked the chance to have a good run in the sea and chase the seagulls whilst we took in the sunset over the water before retiring for a beer at the Kings Street Tavern
Finally allowed on the beach as restrictions for the pooch no longer apply and took full advantage of the tide being out to have a wander down to South Parade Pier and give the pooch the opportunity to run through the surf.
